Snooze it. Then decide.

Cartsnooze is the wise little app that tells you to hold on. Park the thing you want for a few days, see what it really costs, and stop impulse buying without anyone lecturing you.

That €899 phone is 34 hours of your work

Two pixel-art cats, one pink and one blue, sharing a phone

Cooldown, the 7-day rule on autopilot

Stop impulse buying: sleep on it first

Most money apps show you the damage after you spent. Cartsnooze steps in before, when the urge is loudest and the decision is still yours. Think of it as the 24-hour rule or 30-day rule, minus the willpower.

  1. 1

    Snooze it

Spotted something you want? Park it in Cartsnooze instead of your basket. Takes about five seconds.

  2. 2

    Let it cool

The timer runs for a few days (7 by default). Cartsnooze shows what it costs in work-hours while you wait.

  3. 3

    Decide

Still want it? Buy it, guilt-free. Let it go? The money counts as kept and your skipped-buys tally grows.

Try the thing Cartsnooze does to every price

Is it worth it?

Type a price and what you take home per hour. Cartsnooze turns the price tag into the hours you worked for it, and the money it would become in 10 years if you invested it instead.

Seeing a pair of trainers as a full Saturday at work changes the decision more than any budget ever did.

Questions people ask before they hit buy

What is Cartsnooze?

Cartsnooze is the wise little app that tells you to hold on. When you want to buy something, you snooze it for a few days instead. When the timer ends you decide: still want it, or let it go. It also shows every price in hours of your work and keeps a tally of every buy you skipped.

How do I stop impulse buying?

Put time between the urge and the checkout. Most impulse buys only feel urgent for a day or two. Snooze the item in Cartsnooze, look at what it costs in hours of your work, and decide once the timer is up. If you still want it, buy it without guilt. If not, the money stays yours.

Does the 24-hour rule or 30-day rule work?

Yes, waiting before you buy is one of the simplest ways to cut impulse spending. Cartsnooze runs that rule for you: pick 3 or 7 days for free, or 14 and 30 days with Pro, so a 30-day rule is one tap away.

Is it worth it? How does the calculator work?

Type a price and what you take home per hour. Cartsnooze shows how many hours you worked for it and what the same money could become in 10 years if invested at about 7% a year. It is an estimate, not financial advice.

Can I use Cartsnooze for a no-buy challenge?

Yes. During your no-buy month, snooze everything that tempts you instead of buying it. When the challenge ends, decide what you still want. Every let-go adds to your skipped-buys tally.

Is there a home-screen widget?

Yes. Add the Cartsnooze widget to your iPhone home screen and your cooldowns are one glance away.

Can Cartsnooze help with shopping addiction?

It helps with the everyday urge: a pause, a reality check in work-hours and a tally of what you kept. It is not a treatment. If shopping feels out of your control, please talk to a doctor or a counsellor too.

Can we budget as a couple?

Yes, with Cartsnooze Pro. Ask your partner before you buy, share cooldowns, scan and split receipts, settle up, and see your spending together. Your income stays private. One Pro plan covers both partners.

Is Cartsnooze free?

Yes, Cartsnooze is free to download and use on your own. Couples and custom cooldown lengths are part of Cartsnooze Pro, an optional in-app subscription.

Do I need to connect my bank account?

No. Cartsnooze never asks for bank logins. You add what you want to snooze or track, so your bank details stay out of it.

Is Cartsnooze on Android?

Cartsnooze is available on iPhone now. The Android version is coming to Google Play soon.

Next time you want it, snooze it.

Free on iPhone. Takes a minute to set up, no bank login.
